What did we do yesterday?

The SMART Schools Program together with the PBSP hosted a training entitled ICT Integration Manual on "Discovering and Creating Digital Learning Communities". The said training was held in USJR-Basak Campus. The Trainees were from different schools of Visayas.
We had started the training yesterday with the following topics:"Mining the Internet", "Scavenger Hunt" and Making a PowerPoint Presentations about Global Warming and Ice Glaciers. Mining the net is very important nowadays because the learners will no longer have hassel in accomplishing their researches and projects because they will just search on the net using the search engines. They can now explore more on the internet than on a certain book or encyclopedia only.The second topic we had was about scavenger hunt and this include the search techniques. We were given an exercises to answer using the search techniques we've learned. Through the following search techniques we were able to search the answers in a short time only. I've learned also about scavenger hunt and that, we were told to choose a topic and then make 4 questions out of it.
The last topic we had yesterday was making a PowerPoint Presentation about Global Warming And Ice Glaciers. Through this topic I learned not only on how to make a PowerPoint Presentations but also about Global Warming and Ice Glaciers.
